Issue 130 and we’re officially a decade old! But we’re not slowing down. Take our Big Ride, a 35km climb to Switzerland’s epic Émosson Dam. Only when the road runs out, we keep going and discover a secret bike-only climb that even eluded the Tour de France. And our Lake District ride is even more of an adventure, ticking off climbs from Honister to Hardknott, only on gravel, through mud and with bikes slung over our shoulders. You’ve never seen the Lakes like it.

This month we explore the legend Millie Robinson – the original Manx Missile and winner of the 1955 Tour de France women’s race. Yep, they had one back then, just briefly, and we talk to Millie’s friends and relatives about her incredible exploits. Then fast-forward 67 years and Elisa Balsamo is another woman mixing at the sharpest end of the sport, but did you know the Trek-Segafredo World Champ is also a chess expert, virtuoso pianist and is studying the philology of Latin?

Read about all this and more in issue 130, plus all about the newest bikes from Trek, Factor, Reilly and Pearson. It’s an amazing issue and it has been an amazing ten years. Thanks for reading.
